Our Taekwondo (TKD) Dragons classes are a great way to introduce your child to a fun, energetic activity that helps them learn important life skills, such as respect, perseverance and focus.

 

Our patient, friendly instructors are encouraging and understand how to work with young children. Our instructor’s goal is to help our students develop self-confidence through encouragement and praise, motivating them to try new activities. We use a variety of drills, training tools, and teaching methods to engage your child and keep classes fun.

 

TKD Dragons get personalized attention!

 

A low student-to-teacher ratio ensures that your child receives the individualized attention needed to properly learn Taekwondo fundamentals. Our specially designed curriculum guides students through a series of striped belts on a regular schedule, to help them set new goals and achieve them.

 

Classes are safe, high energy, upbeat, and most of All, FUN!

 

Specially designed for 3 to 5 year-old children, each 30-minute session includes exercises to develop balance, coordination, and gross motor skills. TKD Dragons run, jump, kick, and have a great time while improving their concentration and confidence.

 

Your child will also learn new social skills as they practice in groups, cooperate with partners, and learn to focus on a teacher and follow verbal instructions – all skills your child can use for greater success at school and in team sports.

Taekwondo Kids & Family

 

Instilling self-confidence and a sense of accomplishment!

 

Our TKD Kids classes are designed to help your child perform at his or her own pace. In addition to Taekwondo, our students learn to set and achieve their own personal goals. By learning perseverance and taking pride in their accomplishments, our students develop greater self-confidence and a positive outlook that extends into every aspect of their lives.

 

In each 45-minute class, students participate in a series of drills and skill workshops that focus on their strength, flexibility, and endurance while helping to increase coordination, reflexes, and athletic skills.

Your child will love the excitement of learning new kicks, forms, and self-defense techniques and practicing with their new friends. Taekwondo also helps teach your child valuable character traits such as courtesy, respect, cooperation, commitment, and perseverance – characteristics that will also help your child excel at school, team sports, and goal setting.

Our Family TKD classes are a great way for adults to jump into the action and enjoy many of the benefits their children enjoy. Training with your children is a truly special experience, as you will share a common activity and cheer each other on as you each move through different belt ranks.

 

Family TKD classes are a great way to combine workout time with family time. With the help of our instructors, you and your child will learn skills that can be practiced at home together. Family TKD classes are available for students who have two or more family members ages 6+, however, two or more family members must attend the family class at the same time.

Taekwondo Teen / Adult 12+ & Family

 

Self-improvement as well as self-defense!

 

Our TKD Teen & Adult classes provide an excellent workout as each class incorporates a cardio, mix of body weight and core-focused strength training, and stretching. Our instructors provide encouragement and individualized instruction. As a bonus, our adult students make new friendships and work toward their goals with the support and camaraderie of great classmates.

 

The curriculum developed is a balance of traditional Taekwondo forms, practical self-defense, and Olympic Style sparring skills. Our philosophy is that Taekwondo is about self-improvement as well as self-defense. Our instructors will empower you by helping you master self-defense and protection skills, including blocking, kicking, and striking techniques, as well as releases from a variety of grabs and holds.
